We want you to order with confidence, so here's the straight answer: Chef On Call is halal-friendly, not halal-certified. Our 1/3 lb beef patties are made with halal beef, and a large part of our chicken — including our jumbo chicken tenders, 1 LB wings, and popcorn chicken — is made with halal chicken, hand-breaded fresh daily. Several burgers, wraps and sandwiches list bacon as an ingredient; on those, you can remove the bacon to make them halal-friendly. A few items are not halal — the BLT, the all-beef Jumbo Dog, and the combos built around the hot dog — and we label those clearly below.

Halal-friendly items include our halal chicken tenders (2, 4 and 6 piece), 1 LB halal wings, popcorn chicken, the Buffalo Wrap and Southwest Crunch Wrap, the Chicken Parma and Spicy Teriyaki sandwiches, and halal-beef burgers ordered without bacon — such as the Classic, Basic, King of the Ring, Honey Crisp and Oh So Crispy burgers. Vegetarian items like the Boomi Halloumi burger, Mac & Cheese and O.G. Poutine are meat-free. Pork (bacon) items like the BLT and the all-beef Jumbo Dog are not halal.
Yes. Our jumbo chicken tenders are made with halal chicken, hand-breaded fresh daily — available in 2, 4 and 6 piece orders, plus tender combos and our kids' Mini Crisps. Our wings are halal too: a full pound of halal wings sauced and tossed to order. Popcorn chicken is also made with halal chicken.
